WELCOME TO NHS GRAMPIAN'S CLINICAL GUIDANCE WEBSITE
Please read the following:
This site contains referral guidance along with other clinical information. It was developed for use by NHS clinical staff, and especially for General Practitioners.
The resources made available are intended to assist users in their use of the National Health Service and are for information only. Whilst much of the material is transferable to other geographic areas, it has been developed with Grampian General Practitioners in mind. Although these guidelines are an aid to clinical diagnosis, referral and management, clinicians should use their own clinical discretion as individuals vary.
A note for patients:
The Clinical Guidelines website is not intended in any way to replace the advice of a medical professional. Specific advice should be sought in specific situations from a properly qualified health worker.
The website is not intended as a ‘stand alone' resource for patients without further medical information. It is our intention that it could be a resource that a clinician and their patient could use together to aid their communication, and explore treatment options. If you accept and understand these terms, please click here to enter the site.
